How do I share a file without creating an account?
Open Share Files, select your files, and choose Upload Files. ShareVault gives you a 6-digit retrieval code. Send that code to your recipient, who can enter it on the Retrieve page to download the files.
How big can my files be?
You can upload up to 10 files at once, with a limit of 100MB per file. Supported formats include images, PDFs, Office documents, text, audio, video, and archives.
How do I send text from my phone to my computer?
Open Share Text on your phone, paste a note or text snippet, and select Get sharing code. Open ShareVault on your computer and enter the 6-digit code on the Retrieve page. No account or app installation is required.
Who can access content shared with a retrieval code?
Anyone who has the retrieval code can access the content. Share the code only with your intended recipients. ShareVault does not provide end-to-end encryption; do not use it to share passwords or sensitive information.
Why does my download link stop working?
Generated download links expire after one hour. Enter your retrieval code again to request a fresh link while the content is available. Retrieval records expire after seven days; keep your own copy of important files.
